ON TO STATE: Northstars win District title

The Havre Northstars American Legion baseball club has won that elusive Northern A District championship they had been chasing.

Last Sunday, Havre beat the host Great Falls Chargers for a second time in as many days to claim the 2026 district title.

Havre crushed the Chargers 19-9 in the championship game, giving head coach Ben Made a championship in his first season in the Havre dugout. In the title game, Havre pounded out 16 hits and scored six runs in the first inning.
