The Suicide Awareness Prevention Walk will be held on Saturday, September 24, The Walk will begin at 8:10 a.m. with registration at the Big Flat Catholic Church. The walk is at 8:30 a.m. from the church to Turner. A meal will follow. At 2 p.m. Clint Malarachuk, a retired hockey player, will speak. Plan to dress appropriately for the weather as it may be cooler. Come out and support the cause.

Issac Klindworth visited Grandma Carol Klindworth Sunday. They played games together.

Jennifer Strzelczyk visited with Susan Billmayer at the Billmayer home on Saturday.

Quite a crowd attended Dennis McGuires graveside service at Silverbow cemetery on Friday. A meal was served by the ladies at the Hogeland Lutheran Church afterwards.

Sandy Beck hosted her Chinook pinochle club at her home on Wednesday.

A baptism service was held during church services at Hogeland Lutheran. EllieGrace Guzman, daughter of Shari and Mike Guzman, Dallas Beck, son of Brandon Beck and Daniella Schilling who was also baptised. A brunch followed the service.

Guests over the weekend at the Goodrich home were Shari and Mike Guzman and baby, Ellie Grace,of Billings, and Kyla Cromwell and family of Scobey. Kyla and son Braden were Ellies sponsors at the baptism.

Gavin Maloney and his puppy, Rex, stopped to visit Saturday at Grandma Jane and Grandpa Harlans.

Carol Klindworth was up to Havre and visited her mom and dad, Betty and Bill Hay and her sister Nancy Mahns

Wally and Loretta Beck spent a week at Johnson Creek in Tomah, Wisconsin especially to go to Jim and Jan Kuehl’s 50th Wedding Anniversary Party. While there they saw the rest of the Kuehl family and they visited the Straight and Zellmer families.

Lorin Krass, Clayton, and Dakota stopped in Friday night after cutting and helped Harlan with sewer problems.

Sandy Beck attended the graveside service for Dennis McGuire Dennis will be missed by many in the community.

Evan Hauge stopped in to visit Grandma and Grandpa Krass and fixed their computer Sunday.

Harlem’s Nimble Thimble Quilt Guild hosted the Birthday party on Monday in Harlem. Edna Gregorty was the main speaker and put on a nice program.

Wally and Loretta Beck attended the Dennis McGuire graveside servcie and lunch on Friday 16. Family of Harlan and Jane Krass stopped in to visit them and to wish them a Happy 59th wedding anniversary this week.

Friday afternoon, Cassidy, Holly, and Cooper Grabofsky kept Grandma Loretta Beck company while Mom, Crystal Grabofsky, went to Havre.

Lee Wiggens, husband of Connie Egbert, passed away this week. Sympathy to the Egbert family.

On Sunday, Dallas, Albert, Wallace Beck and his mother, Daniella Schilling, were babptised at the Hogeland Lutheran Church. Those attending as his sponsors were Bryce Miller, and Ariel Secora, and her daughter Cadence, Tex Collins, Arthur Tomlinson, and Crystal, Cassidy, Holly Cooper, and Lucy Grabofsky, and Wally and Loretta Beck.

Word was received this past week of the passing of Paul Krass, Harlan Krass’ cousin, who was formerly of Harlem. Also Bob Meitzel, son of Grace (Rafter) and Elmer Meitzel,of Billings. Bob was a cousin of Jane Krass, Dale Klungland, and Lynette Sallee of this area.

Wally and Loretta Beck attended Lucy Grabofsky’s 2nd birthday party Sunday at the Mike Grabofsky home. Others attending were Rick and Deana Grabofsky, Matt, Sadie, Abby, Luke and Zane Grabofsky, Shawn, Bobbie, Tate, Ty, and Harley Jo Beck.
