Tony Collins Chinook resident Tony Collins, 75, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026 surrounded by family after complications of a stroke. Tony was born May 13, 1950 in Hamlin, Texas to Joe and Faye Collins. He graduated from Hamlin High School in 1969. Tony went on to marry Jamie Kim on March 1, 1974. Roy Case generously donated his time and shop-class supplies to help 7th and 8th grade students learn how to build log cabin–style birdhouses. Over several weeks, students worked hands-on to construct and complete their projects, gaining basic woodworking skills along the way.
