In a week-long residency from December 8 through December 13, the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) Red Truck Tour will be in Chinook to stage a performance of The Jungle Book. Auditions will be held on Monday, December 8 beginning at 4:00 p.m. in Chinook High School’s Lloyd Sweet Auditorium. Those auditioning should plan to stay for approximately two hours. Chinook High School celebrated homecoming with a week of activities from September 15-20. The festivities began with hall decorations and culminated with sporting events. With the theme "Game on, Tornadoes," Turner Public School held their homecoming festivities on Friday, September 26. A parade, carnival, and coronations were all part of the celebratory agenda. Using the chosen theme, each class designed a float around the idea of a board or video game. Nestled in the business district in Chinook, the Blaine County Wildlife Museum has become a local treasure dedicated to celebrating and preserving the region's rich natural history.
