The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds kicked off their 2017 football season at home this past Saturday welcoming the Rocky Boy Stars to town. The Thunderbirds and Stars are accustomed to playing games against each other where the score reaches 90, but those are usually in Winter during the basketball season. The Chinook Golf Course and Country Club is holding a Community Dinner and Live Auction this Saturday, September 9 at the Blaine County Fairground Commercial Building.
