Lady Cats poised to make history at first ever State B Girls Basketball Tournament

The Harlem Lady Cats celebrate their Northern B Championship following a 46-43 win over the Wolf Point Wolves Saturday, February 23. The Northern B crown is the first girls basketball title school history. With the big win the Lady Cats advance to the Montana Class B State Girls Basketball Tournament in Belgrade. The tournament begins Thursday with the Lady Cats taking on the Forsyth Dogies in the first game of the day at 12:00 p.m. Right: The Harlem fans were whipped into quit a frenzy during the Northern B Championship game, taking over the Malta gymnasium as time wound down.

The Harlem Lady Cats made history when they departed for the Class B State Girls Basketball Tournament this morning. For the first time the Harlem girls will be playing on the big stage after claiming their first ever Northern B championship in Malta nearly two weeks ago.

According to Head Coach Marling Lawrence the girls are focused on adding another chapter to their magical season.

Harlem has had a fantastic season to date and have found themselves in the top five of every power poll this season.
