Hogeland Happenings

August 12, 2020

Wayne and Mary Ellen Deloach took a drive through the Bowdoin wildlife refuge and enjoyed it very much. They visited with Mary Ellen’s cousin, Kay Brekke and on Saturday, Kay and her granddaughter stopped by the Anderson homestead for a visit.

Susan Billmayer visited with Jane Krass on Tuesday afternoon.

The Klindworths held an early 6th birthday party for Hannah on Saturday. Present were Matt and Annie and kids, Morgan and Jessica and kids, Kelsey and Shawn, Ashley and Cody and his girls, Annie’s mom and dad, Margaret and Larry, her sister Mary and boys, and Duane and Carol. It was also a time for the family to meet new baby Emmett Klindworth.

Dale and Kim Cornell visited Dave and Teresa Cornell on Sunday.

Several family members visited and helped out throughout the week at Harlan and Jane Krass’ home.

Susan and Emily Billmayer visited and had lunch at the Jim Billmayer home on Tuesday.

Wayne and Mary Ellen Deloach went to Fred and Sylvia Mohar’s for root beer floats, which was a tradition for them and for their folks back in the day. Another tradition is to have coffee with Shawna Billmayer, Bobbi Beck, and Nancy Snider. They were able to do that at Shawna Billmayer’s Sunday. Nancy joined them through the “magic” of face time. The Deloachs love it here on the Big Flat, relish their time here, and they look forward to their time here next summer!

Shawn, Tate, and Ty Beck stopped by to see Grandma and Grandpa Beck on Sunday afternoon.

Crystal, Cassidy, Holly, Cooper, and Lucy Grabofsky did some gardening chores for Loretta Beck on Monday afternoon.
