Chinook High School freshman Mya Berreth found great success hunting at her Grandfathers place, November 7, harvesting the huge Mule. Above right: Turner High School freshman Trent Billmayer was equally as successful recently, taking this mammoth Mule Buck recently in the Hogeland area.

Berreth was hunting on her Grandfathers place on Saturday, November 7, when she completed her successful hunt.

Joining Mya on the hunt was her Dad Brian and little brother Hayden. "I have been hunting out there for four years hoping to get one of the big bucks my grandpa has always told me about, and today (November 7) was the day I got to get my shot at one."

Mya harvested her trophy Mule with a .243 on a rainy, foggy morning with a double lung shot. She plans to do a European Mount with the horns.

Trent Billmayer went on his hunt Sunday, November 1, 2020 with his cousin Austin Welsh, a junior at Turner High School. Hunting on the Big Flat in the Hogeland area, Billmayer used a .243 to harvest is Mule Buck.

Congratulations to both Mya and Trent on their successful hunts!

The Blaine County Journal ~ News Opinion would love to hear about your successful hunt. Please send a picture along with a little bit of information describing the hunt to bcjads@mtintouch.net
