Youth Technology Grant Available

February 10, 2021

Late last month, Triangle Communications announced that it is time for eligible organizations to apply for their Youth Club/Technology Grant. Application deadline is February 15, and grants of up to $500 are available.

The Triangle Communications Youth Club/Organization Technology Grant program offers monetary support to youth clubs/organizations in the Triangle service area. Youth groups such as the 4-H, FFA, BPA, FCCLA, DECA, and Boys & Girls Club are eligible. Funds can be used for Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math related projects.

The online grant application is simple to complete and asks twelve basic questions, including how many members are enrolled in the club/organization. The form further desires the applicant to provide a list of local chapters of club/organization names and their towns, as well as a description of the project that the organization wishes to implement and how these funds will be used.

According to their website, Triangle Communications performs as a partner in the communities they serve. “We’re a community-minded cooperative dedicated to supporting the communities we serve. Our focus is to help communities thrive by creating better places to live and learn.”

One way the cooperative does this is through partnerships with community organizations and by giving back through grant programs like the Youth Technology Grant.
