It’s “Love Your Library” month! Each time you check materials out or sign in to use the internet your name will be entered to win prizes. Adults may win a $20 gas card from EZ Mart and a free book. Children may win The Magic School Bus Space Game and a free book.

The Book Challenge for February is to read a book with a red spine. You will be surprised to see how many red spines there are at the library! Join the Book Challenge and you may be the lucky winner of a gift certificate from a local business.

The library will be closed February 21 in observance of Presidents’ Day. The library board will hold its regular meeting February 23, 4:15 P.M.

Mark your calendars for February 28 when the library will host the Humanities Montana Conversations program “Finding Montana” with presenter Ednor Therriault. This event will take place from 6:00-7:00 P.M. The program will be presented virtually at the library for those who wish to attend in person. It may also be accessed on devices using the link https://umontana.zoom.us/j/96141409452. Therriault will shine a spotlight into interesting but not widely known subjects in every corner of the state, bringing stories from one region to the people of another. This presentation is free and funded by Humanities Montana through grants from the National Endowment for the Humanities, Montana’s Cultural Trust, and private donation. For more information please call 406-353-2712.

The library is sponsoring “Bring It to the Table” sessions for small business owners and entrepreneurs in our area. This is a time to meet others involved in small business and talk about concerns, ideas, or problems. The first meeting will be Monday, February 28 from 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. in the library meeting room.

The library hopes to make this a regular event and to assist entrepreneurs and small business owners with information, guidance, and trainings as needed. Those attending are invited to bring their lunch.

Suspense thrillers new this week include “The Night She Disappeared” by Lisa Jewell, “Everything We Didn’t Say” by Nicole Baart, “Do I Know You?” by Sara Strohmeyer, and “Hello, Transcriber” by Hannah Morrissey.

Two new nonfiction books to assist with money management are “Your Money of Your Life” by Vicki Robin and “Investing Quick Start Guide” by Ted D. Snow, CFP, MBA.

Mystery readers will enjoy “The Man Who Died Twice” a Thursday Murder Club mystery by Richard Osman or “An Irish Hostage” a Bess Crawford mystery by Charles Todd.
