The library has free information from AARP on caregiving. Included are a planning guide for families called “Prepare to Care,” “Financial Workbook for Family Caregivers,” “Military Caregiving Guide,” and a guide for caring for older adults in Montana.

The latest novel by Danielle Steel is “Second Act.” After nearly two decades as the head of a prestigious Hollywood movie studio, Andy Westfield is replaced when the studio is sold and the buyer’s son takes his job. Deciding to get as far from Los Angeles as possible Andy leases a home on the coast of England. There he hires Violet Smith to help get his affairs in order. When he happens upon Violet’s manuscript for her novel he is captivated and knows this will make a great movie. Can this be the miracle they are both looking for?

“North of Nowhere” is a thriller by Allison Brennan. Kristen and Ryan McIntyre have been hiding from their murderous father for five years. Now Boyd McIntyre has tracked them down to a small town in Montana. They barely escape in a small plane piloted by the man who has been raising them as his own. But gunfire has damaged the fuel line and they are forced to crash-land in the wilderness. There the siblings hike deep into the woods as a storm approaches.

Angie Kim is the author of “Happiness Falls.” When a father goes missing, his family’s desperate search leads them to question everything they know about him and one another.

“Holly” is the new Stephen King novel about beloved King character Holly Gibney. Although technically on bereavement leave after the death of her mother, Holly finds it impossible to turn down Penny Dahl who asks for help locating her missing daughter. Just blocks from where Bonnie Dahl disappeared live Professors Rodney and Emily Harris. The picture of respectability, they have an unholy secret in their basement.

Other new titles include the science fiction selection “Princess of Dune” by Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson, “Blessings of the Lost Girls” by J.A. Jance, and “12 Months to Live” by James Patterson and Mike Lupica.
