Chinook City Water Supply

You may have a lead pipe supplying city water to your residence or business. Lead solder and pipes were banned in 1988 by the state of Montana. Prior to 1988, lead pipes were in wide use in older homes from the early 1900s. There is a large percentage of homes in Chinook that meet the pre-1988 parameter.

Chinook City Water Superintendent, Gabe Harry, is aware of at least two homes in Chinook that have lead pipes supplying city water to their residence.
