The Northern Montana Health Care Foundation is proud to announce a $42,000 donation from the Havre Women's Golf Association's "Golfing for a Cure" Tournament to benefit the Northern Montana Sletten Cancer Center.

Held this past June, the annual Golfing for a Cure event brings together golfers, local businesses, and community members to raise funds for cancer care across the Hi-Line.

In a joint statement, tournament co-chairs Shari Baltrusch and Shelbi Darlington shared, "The Golfing for a Cure Tournament has always been special to us. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer in one way or another. Our goal is to help cancer patients across the Hi-Line through the funds we raise. We are so proud to have raised $42,000 this year! We couldn't have done it without the amazing support of our community."

Christen Obresley, Executive Director of the Northern Montana Health Care Foundation, expressed her appreciation, saying, "The generosity shown through the Golfing for a Cure Tournament truly reflects the heart of our community. These funds directly support patients in our community who have been diagnosed with cancer, reminding patients they're not alone in their journey."

The Northern Montana Health Care Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the Havre Women's Golf Association, event sponsors, and all who contributed to another successful year of Golfing for a Cure.

Located on the campus of Northern Montana Health Care in Havre, the Sletten Cancer Center provides comprehensive cancer treatment including radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and hematology services, for patients throughout the Hi-Line.
