The start of the 2026 track and field postseason had its ups and downs for the Chinook track and field teams.
At last Saturday’s District 1B meet in Great Falls, the Chinook boys finished fifth with 62 points, while the Chinook girls were seventh with 14 points. Fairfield won the boys meet with 135 points, while the Shelby girls were the district champs with 128 points.
