The Havre High softball team is gearing up for a run at the Class A state tournament. First, the Ponies wrapped up their regular season at last weekend’s rain-shortened Butte Central Invitational.
In Butte, Havre lost to Laurel 10-4 to open the tournament. Kenzi Harwood, Gracie Kuszmaul, Olivia Keller, Riely Doney, Bree Hanson, Ainsley Courtnage, Peyton Mader, and Brooklyn Butler each collected one hit for Havre. Kuszmaul went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in.
