Gosh, I remember “old people” telling me how time flies! Yikes! They were correct. We are very close to our 250th celebration of THIS country. What a milestone. What a testimony to the one God that we serve.

June is known for welcoming the official start of summer (unless you are in the southern hemisphere and then it is winter.) June is also known for being the most popular month for weddings. June is national Men’s Health month, summer solstice, FLAG Day and Father’s Day. Juneteenth (June 19th) is a highly significant federal holiday in the U.S., commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. June is also Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness month.

Mark your calendars for the following June events at our wonderful Center: Saturday, June 20th: 1:00-5:00 50th Anniversary Party for Jesse & Connie Murphy. Mon., June 22nd: Mary Jane Bradbury presents (through Humanities Montana) and with the guidance of Sam French (our Blaine County Museum Director) @ 4:00: Jeannette Rankin, American Conscience.
