On August 2-4, a billboard created by Chelsea Fox stood on the corner of Indiana and 4th Street, tempting passers-by to stop in for a hotdog.
On August 4-5, the Chinook Branch of First Bank Montana, a Division of Glacier Bank, held a celebration. The All-American Celebration was part of the Glacier Bank's Celebrate 250 circuit tour.
With the intention of "honoring 250 years of heritage, progress, and community," the celebration schedule began in Choteau on August 3 and continued through August 7 with a final event in Big Sandy. In between, branches in Chinook, Conrad, Fort Benton, Chester, Fairfield, Plentywood, Lewistown, and Vaughn all hosted their own milestone celebrations.
