After the Montana Federation of Swimmers State Meet in Plentywood on August 1-2, the Chinook Lions present their hardware: First Place in the Eastern Division and Fourth Place overall.
Twenty-seven swimmers represented Chinook at the 2026 Montana Federation of Swimmers State Meet in Plentywood on August 1-2. From that group, several Lions Swim Team members competing in 63 different events made a big splash-collecting a total of 26 medals and securing additional awards.
In the words of Assistant Coach Dentin DePriest, "The Chinook Lions had a fantastic State Swim Meet in Plentywood, finishing first place in the Class A Division with 571 points.
