The Chinook Lions Swim Team had 29 swimmers travel to Scobey for the Eastern Divisional Swim Meet. The Eastern Divisional Meet had 316 swimmers vying to earn their spot to advance to the State Swim Meet. After three years without a pool, Glasgow hosted 264 competitors from across the Eastern Division. The Chinook Lions Swim Team continued their impressive swim season with another 1st place team finish at the Malta Swim Meet. Chinook had 25 swimmers participating in the meet. We had seven swimmers go to Sidney this weekend for the meet. Rachel Stephens and Tyler Stephens were both awarded high point, with 1st place finishes in all three individual events. Tyler finished with two 1st place finishes and a 2nd. The swimmers competing in Sidey were Brynn Brennan, Kolton DePriest, Ashtyn DePriest, Piper Skoyen, Maverick Skoyen, Rachel Stephens and Tyler Stevens. The Swim Team competed in Malta June 27 and 28. The Chinook Lions Swim Team has started the 2026 season strong, earning first-place finishes at its first two meets of the summer. The Lions spent their first two weeks of practice traveling to Havre while renovations at the Chinook pool were being completed. With the work now finalized, the team is excited to be back in the Chinook pool.
