Although stargazers might find celestial happenings intriguing, many of us forget to look to the heavens. Consequently, we miss out on some rare events, such as the alignment of seven of our solar system's planets, an event that took place on February 28 just as the sun was setting below the horizon. Four of the planets-Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and...

Pitter-Patter By: Mary McKenzie Pitter-patter mousey feet, running through the halls, where I cannot see them in the ceiling and the walls. What sets you off a ‘running so I hear your tiny feet? Where is Mrs. Kitty Cat? She’s sleeping on my bed, dreaming all her cozy thoughts, while mice run ‘bove my head! Pitter-patter mousey feet, running through the halls, wh...

You know, Lord, a friend said that ‘friend’ is used to define a person who knows all your faults but loves you anyway’; saying, she’d found a slip of paper in her Grandma’s Bible that listed a lot of words related to ‘friendship’.
