The Public Schools District 10 Board Meeting was held on December 9th at 7:30 PM. The board met the required quorum to hold the meeting. Following a week of rehearsals, the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) supported nearly 40 local students in presenting The Jungle Book, an original musical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic. The Harlem boys basketball season is off to a highly-successful start. After their season-opening wins over Huntley, 99-82 and Lame Deer 84-58 two weeks ago, the Wildcats began last weekend with a win over Poplar 78-50 last Friday night. The victory was a big rivalry win for the Wildcats, who got a crazy 43 points from Cody McCabe in the win. Lathan Black Wolf added 24 points to the win. After an opening weekend snowstorm, and a tough first loss, the Chinook boys basketball team bounced back in a huge way this past weekend. The Sugarbeeters opened District 1B play with a pair of wins last weekend. Chinook’s first home game of the season saw them beat the Rocky Boy Stars 63-54 at the Chinook High gymnasium. Ryan Bell had 22 points to lead the way, but the Beeters also got 21 points from Jameson Norboe in the victory. The Chinook body wrestling team can be a small fish in a big pond when it comes to the annual CMR Holiday Classic. But that didn't stop the Sugarbeeters from finding success this past weekend in Great Falls. Chinook finished 19th out of nearly 50 teams at the 2025 CMR Holiday Classic, as head coach Ben Stoh's team scored 76 points.
