Sympathy is extended to the family of George Cichosz. He passed away this past week. He and his family lived many years out in Hogeland and will be remembered by many. On Tuesday, Sharon Goodrich came over to see Jane and Harlan and they had tea together. She brought a delicious loaf of banana bread to share with them. So nice to have friends visit. Teresa Cornell attended the funeral service for Adrienne Hutton on Saturday. Cassidy and Holly Grabofsky took turns staying and helping Grandma and Grandpa Monday through Thursday. Lucy and Cooper visited on Thursday too while Crystal took Grandpa Wally for a dr. appointment. We have been busy giving the place a face-lift with lots of cleaning and organizing. We have been keeping Wayne Hewitt busy this last couple weeks with painting. Wayne has painted four apartments, the dining room, and the kitchen. Also, had Overcast Restoration here a while back, shampoo all the carpets in the halls, furniture, living room and entryway. Some of the farmers in the community have finished putting in their crops. It would be nice to get a little rain now to help it come up. The weather is getting nicer, and with people starting to open their businesses again, it makes for a nice change to the isolation we have been experiencing for the last 2 months. We are still closed to the public until sometime after Phase 3 begins.
