A scholarship is again offered by the North Central Montana Cattle Women and the North Central Montana Stock Growers. This annual scholarship is available to high school seniors and college students completing their sophomore year. Interest from a memorial fund honoring the memory of deceased members is contributed to by the Cattle Women. Harlem’s Montana Seed Show will be held March 12-14 at Harlem High School. We would like to encourage the 4-H’ers in your county to enter the bread contest. There is a youth division (high school seniors and younger) with prizes in each category. Fifty-one spellers from across the county qualified for the Blaine County Spelling Bee on February 5. Saturday night at 9:49, Fire Chief Kraig Hansen received a page that a house was on fire in the 900 block of Ohio Street. When fire crews arrived, they went to work to extinguish the blaze.
