    The Board of Directors for the Harlem Golf Course is optimistic for its future. Sales from their current fundraiser of 34 Guns in 30 Days has generated $6,000. Realistically they need $40,000 raised and in the bank when they open this spring. Any monies over $40,000 will be used to upgrade equipment and facilities. Two early bird drawings remain for the 34 Guns in 30 Days fundraiser as well as every day in April. In addition to the 34 Guns in 30 Days raffle, several recurring raffles will still be part of the regular fundraising...

    On February 2nd, 2018 The Chinook Eagles will host a Benefit for Steven J. Mulonet from 5 - 10 p.m.. Steven was diagnosed with Wolff Parkinson White Syndrome in August 2017. On August 11th, 2017 Steven was at home when he began to feel light headed. Later that afternoon he called his Aunt Michelene Edwards and she took him to the local medical facility where his vitals were unusually high for an active 17 year old.     On January 17th Meadowlark School had our annual crossing guard training, hosting a guest speaker to talk to 4th, 5th and 6th grade students on the importance of crossing guard safety. Elmer Zarn, Chinook's Chief of Police, spoke to the Meadowlark students on the importance and safety of being a crossing guard.
