The Turner High School Junior Senior Prom was held recently in Turner at the Old Gym. This year's theme was, "Footloose and Fancy Free." Last January Alpine Pacific Utilities, a Kalispell-based engineering firm, filed a preliminary permit to study the feasibility of using Fresno Dam's excess overflow water to generate electricity. This year’s Community Chest Fund Drive in Chinook will take place Wednesday, May 4, at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of Community Chest is to alleviate each organization from going door-to-door soliciting donations.
