Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking public comment on several proposals slated to go to the Fish and Wildlife Commission in June. Comment is open through May 11. After public comment, commissioners can offer amendments to the proposals as they see fit. On Tuesday, April 23, Harlem High School's (HHS) Library was transformed into a gallery for an Artist's Reception and final showing of artwork created by HHS students during the past school year. As part of the Public Health Emergency for COVID-19, Northern Montana Hospital (NMH) discontinued allowing visitors into their facility. Unfortunately, this included many NMH Volunteers. This year’s Community Chest Fund Drive in Chinook will take place Wednesday, May 3, at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of Community Chest is to alleviate each organization from going door-to-door soliciting donations. The drive provides local funding for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Food Pantry, AAU Wrestling, Youth Baseball/Softball, Youth Soccer, MCT, Swim Team, Chinook Rod and Gun Club, and PAWS.
