The Eagle Creek Fire on Mount Baldy is estimated to have burned 7,225 acres as of Sunday evening. The fire is listed at 40% contained with several agencies involved battling the blaze. After 50 years, the Harlem High School Class of 1972 held a class reunion, their first. Several commented that over the years there had been attempts to schedule a reunion, but it never happened. The P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter in Chinook successfully managed to get through August after having several emergencies dumped on their doorstep.
