Turner Homecoming: Royalty, Floats, something for everyone

Hannah Van Voast pulled the Sophomore Class float entitled, "Getting Fired Up." She pulled the first place float in the parade of floats with the Sophomores cashing in on a $25.00 cash prize and bragging rites! Holding up the sign in the background is Avery Fox, second grader at Turner School. Hannah is the daughter of Shannon and Alan Van Voast of Turner.
The 2016-2017 Homecoming was held this past weekend at the Tornado gymnasium. Festivities were held all week long with activities ranging from Pajama Day, Retro Day, Hawaiian Day and Green and White Day. Floats were constructed during the week to partake in the Homecoming Parade prior to Homecoming between games on Friday. Preschool and Kindergarten students were asked to pull the floats at the game and first, second, and third prizes were awarded to the winning classes after being judged.
