    The weather cooperated and it turned out to be a busy last week for the Havre High softball team. Things started a little rocky for the Blue Ponies last Tuesday as they lost their home opener to Lewistown 26-9 at the Sixth Avenue Memorial Field. Havre was still in the game late, but the Eagles put up 10 runs in the last inning. Riley Doney and Kenzi Harwood led Havre in runs scored with three each.     It may not have been their home meet, but the Havre High track teams were on their track with beautiful weather for the annual Cal Wearley Invitational last Saturday. And the Ponies were right at home at the Havre Middle School Track. The Havre girls scored 115 points to easily win the girls team title, while the Pony boys scored 89 points to finish second only to Fairfield.     They only get one home meet per season. So the Havre Blue Pony tennis teams were looking to make the most of the 2026 Havre Invitational, and they did just that last weekend.' The Ponies hosted Glendive, Cut Bank and Conrad at the Bill Vaughn Memorial Tennis Courts last weekend, and the Pony boys were dominant going 4-1 in dials.
