Thank you to The Eagles, 4-H and VFW for the donations of food this week. We appreciate your thinking of us.
There will be a picnic for the YAVs (Young Adult Volunteers) this Wednesday, July 18, 2018, in the park. Thank you Lauren and Lacy for being available to the Senior Center.
Last week activity winners are as follows: Bingo - Annette Powell, Rosalie Perrine, Virginia Olson. Shanghai Rummy - Mike Randall. Pinochle - High Don Durocher, and low Mike Randall
Our activities start at 1 p.m. Our activities include Pinochle on Monday, Shanghai Rummy on Tuesday, Scrabble, Whist or other cards on Wednesday afternoons, Bingo on Thursday, and cards on Friday.
The NCAAA meeting will be held July 20, 2018, in Geraldine. The annual meeting will be August 3, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with the August board meeting following lunch at 1:00 at the Chinook Senior Center.
Remember, your memberships are due this month. They are $10. You can renew them by mail, give the money to your meal delivery driver or just bring it to the center.
Anyone and everyone of any age are welcome to join us at the center for lunch and activities. There are no age requirements. Please feel free to join us. It is recommended that if you are joining us for lunch that you give us a call by 10 a.m. for the cook to have the ability to prepare enough food. The suggested donation for lunch is $5 for age 60 and over and $6 for under the age of 60.
