There is still time to join the Summer Reading Program "A Universe of Stories." Children ages birth to 13 are invited to register at the library, via email at harlemlib@live.com, or on our Facebook page. Children can earn prizes for books read and be entered to win a grand prize at the end of the program. There are weekly events for the children to attend at the library. The Read to Me program for littles ones ages birth to preschool and their parents/caregivers is held each Tuesday at 10 A.M. The Readers Club meets weekly on Thursdays at 1 P.M for children in grades K-6. Adults and teens are also encouraged to take part in Summer Reading. For each book you read/listen to, or each library program you attend your may fill out an entry ticket at the library. At the end of the summer one ticket will be drawn to win a grand prize!

The library will be hosting guest speaker Joan Bird from Humanities Montana June 28, 1 P.M. The presentation "UFOs and Extraterrestrials in Montana" is targeted for an adult audience. Please join us! Refreshments will be served.

Take time to stop by the library and see the new selections we have on display. "In the Blink of an Eye" is written by Jesse Blackadder. Finn and Bridget Brennan and their sons, Jarrah and Toby have made the move from chilly Hobart, Tasmania, to subtropical Australia.

David Baldacci's new novel is "Redemption." FBI consultant Amos Decker is visiting his Ohio hometown when he is approached by convicted murderer Meryl Hawkins. He is the first criminal Decker put behind bars, but Hawkins claims he's innocent. Now dying of cancer he want Decker to clear his name. Although the case was rock solid when Hawkins is killed Decker begins to have doubts. Did he get it wrong all those years ago?

Johanna Teale returns to her cabin in rural Illinois to work on her graduate research on nesting birds after her battle with breast cancer and loss of her mother. A mysterious child calling herself Ursa shows up at her door barefoot and covered with bruises. Ursa claims to have been sent by the stars to witness five miracles. Jo reluctantly allows her to stay until she learns more about her past. As the summer passes and Ursa gets closer to her fifth miracle her dangerous past closes in. "Beyond the Point" is by Claire Gibson. Dani, Hannah and Avery are three West Point cadets who realize they will only manage to survive their time at the military academy if they do it together. As they maneuver their paths at the academy they must each face their own obstacle and trials.

A new Daniel Pitt mystery by Anne Perry is "Triple Jeopardy." Catherine Coulter's new thriller is "The Last Second." "Dark Tribute" is the latest Eve Duncan novel by Iris Johansen.

The library board of trustees will meet Wednesday, June 26, 4 P.M. in the meeting room. The Book Challenge for June is to read a book by a deceased author. We have a selection on display for you to choose from.

Registration forms for the Harlem High All-School Reunion are available at the library. The library will be open during the reunion for alumni, families, and friends to gather and visit. If you have Harlem High memorabilia you would be willing to display contact the library.
