Blaine County Commissioners Vote to Return to 8–5 Workday After Public Hearing

On January 5th, 2026, the Blaine County Commissioners held a hearing at 1 PM in the commissioners’ office in the Blaine County courthouse. The hearing was to establish the Business hours during which the commissioners would conduct transactions pursuant to Section 7-4-102, MCA, and Section 7-4-2211, MCA. The current hours of operation mandated by state legislation for county offices open to the public are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, and closed legal holidays.
