Jeff is a renowned musician, songwriter, and visual artist as well as the co-founder and bassist of the band Pearl Jam. Jeff was born in Havre to George and Penny Ament and raised in Big Sandy, Montana. Jeff participated in basketball, football, and track at Big Sandy High School, where he graduated in 1981.
