We are going to have a Gingerbread House making contest on Friday December 17th at 10:00 a.m – 11:30 a.m. This will be made up of teams of three (3). I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving with lots of family and food. The weather was almost perfect for the holiday weekend, minus that wind. Turner, Montana, and the surrounding communities, are about to see the Border Bar & Grill back in business. In March of this year, Crystal and Dan Friedrich decided that bar ownership sounded like a viable option for them. My wife, Sherry, and I just returned from a driving trip to Georgia. The trip was to visit a very dear friend from years back and also, well, about nostalgia. We lived for 20 years over two time spans in the state, both our children were born there and I, honestly, had a strong hankering for some southern cooking.
