The Turner School was elated to receive a $5,000.00 check from Northwest Farm Credit Services this past May. The money was presented to Superintendent, Mr. Tony Warren, who applied for the money. In the late spring I was walking along Stephens Road that borders the Kuper Memorial Cemetery northwest of Chinook. I noticed some construction equipment and workers around the water tower located on the highest part of the cemetery. I figured repair work was going on. This aerial photo taken recently shows the current water levels at the north end of Fresno Reservoir. Currently, Fresno is listed at 59% capacity. Work is still being done at various locations along the Saint Mary Diversion Dam project and hopefully that work will allow the reservoir to maintain sustainable water levels.
