    Coronation of Royalty was held recently for the 2017-2018 Homecoming at Turner High School. Four high school boys and girls were delegates for the festivities. Last year's reigning queen and king, Melanie Watkins and Eddie Harmon, passed the crowns to the incoming royalty that was recently held at half court during the varsity boys game recently. This will be the 29th year that this popular event has been held in conjunction with the Montana Seed Show.     Last week's fair was the 50th anniversary of the Fort Belknap Mid Winter Fair. The annual winter event was first staged in 1967.     It’s almost time for the 69th annual Montana Seed Show pie baking contest. This years pie entries will be accepted on Friday, March 9th, from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the Harlem High School gym. There is a youth division and adult division again this year. A few things to remember when entering, all pies are to be made from scratch, with a double crust and berry or fruit filling.     The Hill/Blaine County Fire Foundation was created to help provide a way to distribute funds collected that were donated to the East Fork Fire in Hill County.
