Two new Principals have taken different paths to become administrators in the Chinook School. Danelle Gibson, new elementary principal went to high school in Chinook, while the new high school principal, Brian Rayburn's path has covered a great deal of the United States. State Superintendent Elsie Arntzen announced recently that the Office of Public Instruction (OPI) is allocating $1.5 million in federal Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds to Montana teachers for math and reading projects. The Blaine County Rodeo Team, along with many wonderful volunteers, held a Kids Rodeo on Saturday, August 3, 2024. The event featured 90 participants competing in steer riding, arena race, chute dogging, goat untying, goat tying, sheep riding, breakaway, flag race, barrel racing, pole bending, calf tying, and team roping.
