A Convention & Expo took place on October 26-29, approximately 80,000 FFA members from around the United States gathered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Among them were ten members from Chinook. A retirement party is being planned for Thursday, December 22 at the Blaine County Courthouse at 2:00 pm on the second floor. The guests of honor will be Tammy Williams, Cindy Dennis and Frank DePriest. Combined the three have more than 80 years of service to the people of Blaine County. Twenty-six members of the Chinook Chapter of the FFA joined the group of over 1,700 blue jackets that flooded Montana State University campus at the 11th Annual Montana FFA Ag Expo in Bozeman on November 10-12, 2022. This past Wednesday, November 30 nearly 80 people braved the elements to attend the 30th Anniversary Commemoration of the C-141 Collision Crash that claimed the lives of 13 United States Airmen north of Harlem. The Chinook Community Red Cross Blood Drive was held on Tuesday November 15th at the Chinook Community Commercial building down at the Blaine County fairgrounds. It was another great success. Five Native American or First Nations artists have been selected for the prestigious 2023 Eiteljorg Contemporary Art Fellowship. Trailblazing mixed media, sculpture, beadwork and photography by the artists will be on exhibit at the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art beginning in November 2023.
