    The Class C and Class B high school golf season got underway for the Chinook Sugarbeeters and Harlem Wildcats this past weekends as they competed for the first time this season in Shelby. Chinook senior Kade Friede and junior Carrie Hofer each posted solid numbers their first time on the links this season.     Following the conclusion of the high school basketball season the District 9C sends its seniors off with a fun night of basketball. The eight schools seniors along with a few underclassman get together to compete one last time on the court.     The Hays/Lodge Pole Thunderbirds concluded the season with wins over the Fairview Warriors 62-59 and the Box Elder Bears 69-60 at the Montana Class C State Tournament in Bozeman this past weekend.     The Harlem Wildcats boys basketball season came to an end this past week at the Northern B Divisional in Cut Bank. The Wildcats entered the tournament as the District 2B No. 4 seed and began play against the District 1B No. 1 seed Rocky Boy Stars.     The Chinook High School Cheer Squad is under the direction of Head Coach Jerilyn Wood and has been growing in numbers over the years. Near the end of the High School basketball season the squad has held a 'Cheer Camp' the past few years for youngsters grades K-6.
