Turner Tornadoes celebrate seniors

The Senior Class of 2017 were honored at the last home basketball game for the 2016-2017 ball season. Four seniors were recognized for their years at Turner School. They met their family parents at half court and the crowd wished them well. Above left, Rennay Watkins is the daughter of A.J. and Denise Watkins. In High School she has been involved in basketball, track, student council, National Honor Society, and Pep Club. She has also been involved in 4-H and Youth Group. Rennay's future plans are to study radiology in n Missoula. She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, and sister, Melanie for always pushing her to do her best, her grandparents (Tom and Lucy Fairbank) for letting her live with them during basketball season and Max and Kirsti (Cederberg) for supporting her no matter what she is doing. Rennay's words of wisdom are: " You'll never regret taking an opportunity."

Ella Billmayer is the daughter of Adam and Shawna Billmayer. In High School, Ella has been involved in Basketball, Track, Student Council, and Pep Club Her plans for the future are to attend MSU-Bozeman and major in Special Education or Nursing. Ella would like to thank her Mom and Dad for always encouraging her to do her best and never give up. She would also like to thank the community for all their support throughout her high school career. Ella's words of wisdom are: "Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs, but it's your choice to scream or enjoy the ride."

Escorting Brian Brekke is his mother, Noelle Brekke and his grandmother, Ada Brekke. Brian has been involved in Basketball, Student Council and is the Pep Club president at Turner High School. His future plans are to attend the College of Western Idaho and study Psychology. Brian would like to thank all of his teachers, friends, and family who made his move to Turner an easy and enjoyable experience. His words of wisdom are: "Don't worry about what everyone else thinks. Just do what you need to do to be successful."

Whitney Hunter is the daughter of Justin and Kami Weigand. She has been in Science Fair and Homecoming Princess at her time at Turner High School. Whitney's future plans are to go to Aaniiih College and study nursing or history. She would like to give special thanks to her Mom, Dad, and brother for helping her through her school years and to her class for making her feel welcome. Whitney's words of wisdom are: "I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing happiness."
