Pie Contest

It’s almost time to dust off the winning pie recipe for the 68th annual Montana Seed show.

This year the event will be held at Harlem High School, March 9, 10, & 11th. Once again there will be an adult division and a youth division, so everyone is encouraged to enter.

Pies can be entered from 8:30 until 9:30 on Friday morning in the big gym. A few things to remember when entering your pie is that everything is to be homemade, no pre made pie fillings or pie crusts.

The pies must also have a top and bottom crust to be eligible. Once again we have very generously donated prizes for the adult and youth divisions.

The adult category 1st place is a pottery pie plate and $400.00 cash from the R.T. “Bob” Rassmussen Memorial, 2nd $300.00 from Columbia Grain, 3rd $200.00 from Harlem Lumber, 4th $100.00 from The Bank of Harlem.

Youth 1st is $75.00, 2nd $50.00, and 3rd $25.00. Thank you to these businesses and people for their continuing support.
