Thunderbird, Wildcat Cross Country compete in Havre

Hays/Lodge Pole senior Isaiah Denny and junior Tahtianna Morgan had a fine showing at the Havre Invitational Cross Country Meet. Denny finished 10th in the Class C Boys race while Morgan was 11th in the Class C girls race.
The Harlem Wildcats and the Hays/Lodge Pole Cross Country teams were in Havre this past Friday to take part in the Blue Pony Invitational.
The Thunderbirds were represented by senior Isaiah Denny and junior Tahtianna Morgan. Both runners competed hard and ran the course well, especially for the first meet of the season. Denny finished 10th among Class C boys with a time of 19:56.59. Morgan ran a solid race for the Thunderbirds in the Class C girls race, finishing 11th in 31:32.74
Harlem's only girl competing was senior Gabrielle Bell. Her effort of 26:02.93 earned her a 7th place finish amongst Class B girls.
The Wildcat boys had solid numbers with six running in the Varsity race and two competing in the JV race.
Junior RJ Ramone shined on the course, finishing 2nd in Class B boys with a tremendous effort of 18:27.56. Junior Teagan LeValdo wasn't to far behind in 10th place with a time of 20:39.72. Freshman Moses Lawrence was 17th in 21:52.11. Junior Titan Brockie was 18th (21:53.71, senior Trent Main crossed the finish line in 22nd and senior Lance Black Crow finished 24th in 27:22.06.
Freshman Shane Stiffarm and Shaide Bell competed for the Wildcats in the junior varsity competition.
