FFA Ag Expo Will Feature Twitchy

November 2, 2022

Local FFA Chapters are getting ready for the Montana FFA Foundation’s Ag Expo 2022 which is being held from November 10-12 in Bozeman, Montana. One of Montana’s largest conferences, this event is a three-day conference where high school and middle school FFA members from across Montana gather to participate in competitive events, leadership workshops, and career training on the Montana State University campus.

Sponsored by John Deere dealers: C&B Operations, Frontline Ag Solutions, and RDO Equipment Company, the Montana FFA Ag Expo hosts over 1,600 students representing 100 FFA chapters throughout the Big Sky state. FFA members can select to participate in one of 25 distinct competitive events—from livestock evaluation to milk quality & products to farm & agribusiness management to public speaking. Students can also participate in workshops, take in leadership conferences, explore the Career Fair, and attend the MSU Bobcats Celebrate Ag football game. 4-H clubs are also welcome to register students to participate in contests.

At this year’s conference, the featured keynote speaker is Stuart Ellis-Myers. Known as Twitchy, Ellis-Myers is promoted as “the world’s only funny, inspirational, motivational keynote speaker who loves to ‘positively traumatize™’ audiences. He’s Robin Williams living with an inspirational Twitch.”

With over 50 years of lived experience with anxiety, depression, non-swearing Tourette Syndrome, and OCD-driven bipolar panic attacks, Twitchy is living proof that those who overcome countless unstoppable challenges tend to develop extraordinary approaches to everyday challenges. Using humor, strength, and determination, he breaks through mental health stigma to reveal useful professional and personal life-saving lessons. His keynote promises to offer multiple insights for overcoming the many challenges of today’s globally-hectic world.

Ellis-Meyers will speak on Thursday, November 10 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. during the Keynote Dinner.

The final registration deadline for interested attendees is November 5.
