Wildcats Fall to Rocky Boy 56-51 to Close out 2022

The Harlem Wildcat basketball team is full of new faces on its Varsity roster, freshman Matthew Billmayer and senior Chantry Jorgenson have been asked to play huge roles this fall. Both are new to the Varsity and both are starting. The Wildcats compete start to finish and opponents have to work to get their points. The early season experience can hopefully transfer into late season success. Harlem returns to the court on January 6 at home against Chinook.

The Harlem Wildcats hosted the Rocky Boy Northern Stars on Monday, December 19 in what would be their final contest of the year before the Holiday Break. The Wildcats have played hard each and every time they have taken the court this season, getting as many valuable minutes as possible of experience to build their team around moving forward. Harlem gave the experienced Northern Stars all they could handle, but it was the visitors that garnered a 69-51 win over the Wildcats

Harlem finishes 2022 with an 0-5 record overall and an 0-2 mark in district 2B play. The Wildcats will return to the court for the first time in the new year when the will take on the Chinook Sugarbeeters at home in the Jungle on Friday, January 6. The Wildcats game scheduled for Thursday, December 22 has been postponed. No make up date has been announced as of press time.
