Helen E. Mueller 97 of Chinook Montana passed away on June 21st, 2023, at the Northern Montana Care Center in Havre Montana.

Helen was born on January 31, 1926, to August and Louise (Huetter) Mueller in Chinook Montana. After graduation from Chinook High School in 1944 she went on to earn a Bachelor of Nursing Degree from Montana State University in 1947.

Helen worked for Doctors Hospital in Seattle Washington from 1947 -1950. On Oct. 5th, 1950, Helen enlisted in the Navy. She spent 4 months at sea and was stationed in Adak Alaska. Upon leaving the Navy Helen worked in her field of study in both Polson Montana and Great Falls Montana.

Helen was very involved with the Family farm. She was an avid reader and loved to keep up with current events. She loved to visit with family and friends.

She is survived by many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents August and Louise (Huetter) Mueller, brothers Ervin and Oswald Mueller and sisters Hilda Starcher, Elsie Laden, Leatha Smock, Rosalie Warrick, Ella Laden and Louise Lorenzen.

Grave side Services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday July 8th, 2023, at the Chinook Cemetery.
