Harwood sets a Swimming Record

Sylvi Harwood from the Chinook Lions Swim Team set the federation record in the girls 8 and under 50 meter free style. The record was previously held by Hadley Edwards, daughter of Chinook Alumni Tyler Edwards, and granddaughter of Cherie Edwards.

Swimming at the Scobey Swim Meet on July 12, Sylvi swam a 36.81 to beat the previous record of 37.18, which was set in 2022.

The Montana Federation of Swimmers is a swim league made up of several Montana towns spanning from Plentywood to Hamilton.
