Carol Struck, age 98, died December 18, 2025, in Woodbury, MN. She was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Kenmare, ND, the youngest of 4 children, to Anna Maria (Dahl) and Bennie Johnson. When she was still very young, the family moved to Montana. They lived in Hogeland, Turner and Havre, MT. They returned to Turner where she graduated high school in 1944. In his fourth season at Montana State University-Northern, former Chinook basketball standout Oskar Pula is really starting to come into his own. Pula, a former Class C All-State star for the Sugarbeeters, is averaging nearly 14 minutes per game for Northern head coach Shawn Huse, and the Lights, who are 7-5 this season. Staff and students at Zurich Elementary School presented the annual Christmas Program on the evening of 18th December. The program titled A Small Problem on Christmas Eve was written by Kenzie MacLeod, Kyleejai Baird (sixth graders), and Matthew Thompson (seventh grade).
