The Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) and the Gallatin City-County Health Department (GCCHD) are reporting Montana’s first cases of measles since 1990. The GCCHD is investigating five confirmed cases of measles. The individuals are children and adults who were exposed to measles while traveling outside of Montana. The Grain Growers Club at Turner Public School traveled to Harlem on March 4 to see the small-scale version of what was to come in Portland. Jake Etchart spent his summers at Fort Peck Lake, where he was often found at the Fort Peck Theatre, a place close to his heart. His family actively volunteered with the theatre, and Jake especially enjoyed watching his sisters, Alexa and Christen, perform on stage.
