Blaine County schools in Chinook, Hays-Lodge Pole, and Turner celebrated Veteran's Day with assemblies, gift bags, and other gestures of appreciation on November 11. School officials suggested that these forms of recognition offer an opportunity for students not only to learn about military service but to express gratitude to those who have served.
