Fifty-one spellers from across the county qualified for the Blaine County Spelling Bee on February 5. Saturday night at 9:49, Fire Chief Kraig Hansen received a page that a house was on fire in the 900 block of Ohio Street. When fire crews arrived, they went to work to extinguish the blaze. The Chinook Rod and Gun Club held their first ever Ice Fishing Derby on Saturday, February 1 at the Dry Fork Reservoir from 9 am to 3 pm. There were a total of 14 participants.
